Episode 1 : Howard - Tires
He knew it was best to slow down, allowing the reckless driver to get some distance from them. He could feel the adrenaline fading from his system, leaving his hands trembling as he gripped the steering wheel. Heart pounding in his chest, Howard felt as if he had just run a mile. Letting out a clam gasp he said "Lets just give this guy some room." As the moments passed he felt his body return to normal, and he could no longer see the car.
As they approached the gas station he began scanning for the air pump. He noticed an air pump was available, seeming to be in working order with a "Free Air" sign next to it. As he began to park the car he herd Nancy say I need to use the restroom before we head out.
He realized that he hadn't looked at her to make sure she was OK yet. Howard turned towards his wife. Her hair was ruffled a bit, but she was as beautiful as ever. Looking back to make sure the kids were OK too, he saw Ana sitting next to her sleeping brother with a playful smile. Howard smiled as he said "We'll be waiting for you hon."
As he opened his door he looked at a factory sticker on the inside of his door frame. Howard knew that it is common practice for vehicle companies to label tire pressure information here. Howard remembered this from his first car, a 1970 Ford Ranchero GT. Kneeling down by the rear tire he unscrewed the valve stem cap, placing it in his pocket. As he placed the hose onto the stem he pressed the air pump activator which began supplying air to the tire. When he released the activator the attached gauge measured the pressure of the air within the tire. After a few checks the tire pressure was right were he wanted it. After screwing the valve stem cap back on the tire he headed back to the front of the car.
