Today I wrote a bio page for the Sanctuary, a group of survivors who fortify a neighborhood to survive.

Today I added a new section to the site navigation called writing. This section includes what I am currently working on, story ideas, and content related to the writing process.

Today I wrote a bio page for Nathan, a side character mentioned in our opening. He is an auto mechanic who would do anything to protect his family. He went missing about a year after the collapse scouting outside the nearby areas.

Today I wrote a bio page for Janine, a side character from our opening. The local grocery store manager turned councilwoman due to her supplying food and water during the crucial first years of the end of the world.

Today I wrote a bio page for Jim, a side character from our opening. A wealthy fashion executive who left the hustle and bustle of the fashion world behind to live a less stressful life, he owns a large portion of the property comprising Sanctuary.

Today I wrote a bio page for Rebecca, our opening character. She is unaccustomed to living with so little, but is willing to do whatever it takes to provide shelter for her family.

I am a co-founder of Story Ninjas, a publishing organization focused on getting the stories you want to tell into your reader’s hands. Today I added some of our Story Ninjas content to the site.

Today I wrote the first 2k words of Bug. The story is beginning to flesh out and write itself. I also discuss what I was able to accomplish in this section as well as what I plan to do moving forward.

Today I moved the initial outline into its own post and created a second draft of the outline. This outline incorporates the recent story open with the initial outline.

Today I shared a new book idea on my site from the vault. Dating back to 2014, this story idea includes 2 short writings about a virus, corrupt government, and the media leading to a war-torn America.

Today I shared a new book idea on my site. This is a multiverse/time travel story in which a device can transport you to a neighboring universe in the multiverse, allowing you to relive the day and possibly even cheat death.

Today I added a new story open called “Today is Friday, again.” Its use of the word “again” elevates the otherwise mundane statement “today is Friday.”

Today I added a new section to the site called Story Openings. In this section, I will be discussing opening statements used to hook a reader. Today’s opening is called “found corpse”, and it introduces an unusual narrator.
